Just FYI, you can put two kayaks on with only one rack, as long as you buy some extra straps for the second boat. I bought two, since we have two kayaks, but only needed one. That said, I did need the second set of straps, ropes, and hooks. When we eventually buy two more boats (total of 4), I will only need to buy some extra straps and we will be all set.
Customer Review: Thule 830 kayak carrier
This is a good deal for someone wanting to carry a couple of Kayaks, without spending a small fortune.
The only problem was, the instructions were a little vague, and no pictures to guide you. There are drawings, but leave a lot to be desired.
They claim you can carry four kayaks, but until I see a picture of how to do this, I would only carry two.

I was skeptical when adding this to my rack but 2 days after installing crossbars on my honda civic hybrid, I couldnt hear anything but witd and I watched my gas mileage plummit, so I invested 30$ into a fairing and back to “good as new” condition. If you have a yak rack, get a fairing!!!
Customer Review: Oh So Quiet!
My spouse discouraged me from buying a fairing when I purchased the roof rack. BOY was it loud! Without a fairing it makes an incredibly ethereal howling noise if you drive above 30 MPH. The guys at REI suggested wrapping string around the poles. That did help a bit but nothing can compare to the fairing. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first but then it went on sale at amazon and so I bought it. I am SO glad I did. What a difference it makes. No more howling. It’s not silent but it’s close enough for the convenience of having a roof rack. Don’t hesitate. If you get the roof rack, get the fairing.

This is a cute backpack, and my 3rd grade daughter loves it. But I wish it were just a little bit bigger for her books, lunch, and gym shoes to fit into. And it would have been better to have some kind of drink holder on the side. But this is a cute backpack; just don’t expect any extras in it.
Customer Review: Cute and durable
I bought Wildkin backpacks for my twin daughters for school this year. They chose the bug one (green) and the horse one (pink). I also got the matching lunch bags. They are all very cute and well made. The fabric is nice and durable. All but the horse backpack have the big teeth durable plastic zippers (not sure why the one backpack has a different one). Zippers are the first thing to go on backpacks, but these seem really durable. The outside pocket of the backpack has a few smaller pockets inside, including one with a zipper. The lunch bags are great — VERY roomy. I like to use Rubbermaid reusable juice boxes and sandwich holders, and they both fit in there just fine with extra room for fruit or chips. The juice box holder is an elastic strap with Velcro, so it will hold any container securely in place. Plus, there is a mesh Velcro pouch on the inside of the lid for a small ice pack. They also have an adjustable shoulder strap.
