This bag is awesome and holds a lot more than I thought. With the new flight regulations, the agents are very strict to make sure you only have one carry on and one personal item. Being a woman, I had the bag, purse and backpack. All I had to do was clip the backpack onto the bag and instantly complied with the rules. Once on the plane, I stuck the roll on in the overhead and the backpack under the seat. It was perfect. The backpack has a nice compartment for your laptop and great elastic water bottle holders so your bottle does not fall out when you tilt the pack. The roll on is very light and fits anywhere. Very durable and reinforced in the bottom areas that usually get worn out. Well worth the money!
Customer Review: Very good, not great.
I purchased this pack after a recent trip to Eastern Europe for a trip to South America. I read all of the sterling reviews and have another Osprey product that I love. It met all of my expectations but I was disappointed to find a major design flaw that prevents me from endorsing it entirely. The backpack has just a small access zipper on the front that makes it impossible to utilize. In order to get anything of consequence into the pack you must unzip a large zipper flap on the back of the pack. Other than that it is a great product.
